Our journey as a company began in 2016, when we entered the garment and textile industry with a focus on wholesale and manufacturing. We quickly became known for our effortless fits and comfortable stretch fabrics, and we worked hard to create products that were of the highest quality. However, we noticed that our products weren't always getting the attention they deserved. End users were happy with the quality, but they were often overcharged and not fully informed about the characteristics and sustainability of the products they were purchasing.
It was frustrating to see that the options for denim in the market were both vast and limited at the same time. On the one hand, there were many different brands and styles to choose from. On the other hand, it was difficult for customers to find affordable and sustainable options. Some high-quality brands were priced out of reach, while cheaper options were often poor in quality and not durable.
This is what inspired us to establish Paredenim: an affordable and sustainable denim brand that delivers superior quality and comfort. We wanted to "trim the excess" of the denim industry – the myths, the stereotype that sustainable equals expensive, the unexplained costs, and the pollution. The word "pare" means to trim or cut off, and this is exactly what we aim to do with our brand. By offering honest, transparent, and affordable products that are also sustainable, we hope to trim away the excess and create a brighter future for everyone.
